- Jane Brodie Added October 31, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★This is an amazing council managed reserve that apparently not many people are aware of - as I wasn't until I stumbled across it. It's FREE and open 7 days per week. There are a number of different kinds of walks for all ages/fitness abilities. There are also 4 separate BBQ areas, a children's playground, picnic areas, a function centre (for hire), pond area and well kept native gardens. They have a Visitor's Centre too which sells a few snack and cold drinks. I was told by the young lady working in the Visitor's Centre, that there are plans to sell coffee in the future. They also have a good array of giftware such a Bush Tucker and handmade items by local artists. They have a small nursery out the back of the Visitor's Centre which stocks an array of Australian Native plants. From the signage and brochures around the place, they also have a number of programmes that run weekly, as well as, special events such as live music. I recommend a visit here!
